Daniel White, MA

Daniel White is an organizational development consultant who specializes in working with leaders, teams and whole organizations to help them create innovative strategies and translate these strategies into action. He helps them develop communication, management, and implementation skills.

As a facilitator, Dan works with teams to strengthen their dialogue and their ability to act in a coordinated fashion, which encourages and promotes productivity and creativity. He works to develop several capabilities, including: clarifying goals and roles, identifying current and desired team practices, understanding multiple perspectives, and practicing new team behaviors. As a leadership coach, he works with clients to identify their strengths, needs, and barriers to development, and coaches them to fully leverage their unique talents to achieve greater effectiveness.

Dan's career includes serving as a training and development consultant and as Director of Training and Organization Development. As a manager at Citicorp, he implemented original approaches to management training and organization effectiveness and championed two major culture change efforts that enabled rapid business growth. As a consultant, he has worked with organizations such as: Pfizer, Siemens, Reuters, Becton Dickinson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Citicorp, Chase Bank, Con Edison, R.R. Donnelley, Parents Magazine, Empire Blue Cross, Radio City, Veritas, and several not-for-profit organizations.

Dan earned his MA in Organizational Psychology at the Teachers College of Columbia University and has furthered his education with a Post-graduate certificate in Adult Development from the City University of New York. He has also published Stimulating Innovative Thinking, in Research-Technology Management magazine, October 1996 and Career Development of Technical Professionals, in Alan Pickman, ed. (1996).
