Marc HorowitzMarc Horowitz is the founder and President of the MWH Group. He has studied and supported organizational effectiveness and systemic change, and has provided leadership for educational initiatives utilizing open systems designs. He has been the team leader for a variety of restructurings, including implementation of total quality, continuous improvement, and "customer" focus as an educational leader in several high profile school systems. He specializes in involving all stakeholder levels in strategic thinking and leadership, creating conditions that result in high quality of work life, staff commitment, and excellent performance. He designs learning templates for organizational cultures that lead to the achievement of competitive advantage.

Marc has over 30 years of experience supporting the growth and development of teams and learning organizations that have effectively utilized teams to do things better, faster, and cheaper. His company provides performance improvement expertise through learning, collaboration, and process redesign solutions to business leaders challenged to improve their bottom line.

Marc has worked with CEOs and other business leaders who knew there was so much more they could do with their companies, who were striving to get their management teams aligned around a common vision, mission and purpose. In other organizations, their work has been focused on helping the owners to build high performance teams within team based organizations. His work is based on the belief that the real experts in the business reside within the companies, and that his value-add is in helping the leader to tap into the collective wisdom of their most valuable asset, their people.

Marc earned his doctorate from the Teachers College at Columbia University. He researched and published on the politics of NYC administrative decentralization. He has been an active educational innovator, studying, teaching, and mentoring cooperative strategies, creating state of the art technology infrastructures. He earned New York State Recognition for a "School of Excellence" in his high profile leadership positions.
